Wairarapa, meaning glistening waters, is situated at the south of the North Island of New Zealand. It is made up of 3 sub regions; Masterton, Gladstone and Martinborough all linked via the Ruamahanga River. The Wairarapa Winegrowers Associated unites these three sub regions and allows the vineyards and wineries to share their ideas thereby constantly improving the region and its’ famous wines.
